07/05 - Well, the 2007/8 season is now over. We didn't do too badly, but next year we will be bigger and better than we have ever been before! I hope everyone is ready for the Presentation Night on Friday. I'm sure all the adults and children will have a good evening. Not too much alcohol to be consumed by the parents though because you all have to register your children for the 2008/9 season early on Saturday morning!. I will add the tournament details to the 'Fixtures' section nearer the time and I will also do hard copies and hand them out at one of the training sessions. Well, good luck boys for next season. I'm so looking forward to cheering you on from those cold, wet touch lines!!.
final league table announced. joint 5th as goal difference does not count, well done guys. lets go on and do the double next season
25/04- SQUAD ANNONCEMENT. DEPENDANT ON WHO SIGNS FOR NEXT SEASON WE SHALL HAVE DARRYLL, ADAM, MATTHEW, OSAZE, HENRY, LOGAN, BRADLEY, NATHAN, JOE AND THE RETURN OF BUSTER.
21/04- Well thats it. The season is over. No more league games. huraagh i hear the parents shout realising they can lie in on a sunday. However we shall still have training, fun and games and i think all the parents should get together in two weeks time to play the team. so on saturday 3rd may 2008 all of you parents will turn up at 10am and face a match of 20 minute halves against the whites. should be fun. A really big thank you to all of you for your help and support this season and lets see if we can win these tournaments.
20/04 - Another chilly day on the touchline and what an exciting match! All the boys played brilliantly and as usual it was a pleasure to watch! We were by far the better team (especially in the 2nd half), it's just a shame one of those shots that hit the post or cross bar didn't find it's way into the back of the net. As a result of great teamwork, Logan managed to score the two goals for the Whites. Great passing today guys - long may it continue. Roll on next season when we will be bigger and better than we have ever been! Go on you Whites......
19/04 - On a cold and chilly morning, the boys played well to secure a 1-1 draw with Farnham Lions. As usual, it was a pleasure to watch and I don't think we deserved to draw, but then, a draw is better than a loss. Well done boys and well done to Bradley who scored the Whites goal! Come on you whittteeesss............
18/04- So a loss to mayford at home followed by a thrilling draw to them on a wet and horrid day away. Things went really well in the until 7pm whilst on my way home someone drove into the back of the car with all the family on board, ouch, spinal board, x-rays and 6 hours later my wife and i were released from hospital with very nasty whiplash which means i need all the help i can get from all of you to put up the goals etc. see you at blenheim on saturday. Bill
03/04- Well sundays game was exciting and showed some weakness in the team that me and Mo will continue to work on. Tournament dates are now on the future attractions page. we shall hopefully be meeting the blues in the Bedfont green tournament, i've changed the venues etc to have them nearer and more convenient for all of us. The Hotspur cup will be an additional cost of £10 per playuer however there will be scouts from all the major london teams plus the chance to play new and different teams. WE ARE DESPERATE FOR A SPONSOR WHO CAN STUMP UP UP TO £2000. THIS WOULD SUPPLY 2 NEW STRIPS FOR NEXT SEASON PLUS NEW EQUIPMENT. IF ANYONE CAN HELP PLEASE CALL ME.
19/03- Saturday 16th. Training was cancelled due to my wife having a couple of seizures in the early hours. After a number of checks at the hospital mummy is back home and all is ok. Sundays game was cancelled after a pitch inspection by craig and after discussions it was decided that the game should not go ahead. The AGM is friday 11th April and i would like to see ALL of you there as we need both your support and also ideas on how to shape the club for the future. We need by 20th April a copy of the players passport or birth certificate plus two passport size photo's as they all need new player cards for next season. The date for the presentation evening is to be announced very shortly. The cost for this is £20 per player plus 3 guests and for any that have another player at the club they will only be charged £10 extra. The fees for next season will include the cost for next seasons presentation night. IF ANYONE KNOWS SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO PLAY FOOTBALL IN OUR AGE GROUP PLEASE TELL THEM TO COME DOWN AND SEE MYSELF OR MO ON A SATURDAY AS WE ARE TRYING TO BUILD A 3RD TEAM FOR NEXT SEASON.
10/03 - We went one up early and i thought that today would be our day. Yet it was not to be. We have a lot to work on this weekend and i hope to see you all at training. Following some incidents with one of Farncombe's players i have written to both their manager and the league as i am not happy with his conduct and i shall keep you all informed. The AGM will be on April 11th at 8pm. venue is the ex-servicemans club (By Blenheim Park) and i hope to see as many parents there as possible. Thanks for your supporty and well done lads we are good enough and we can get better.
09/03 - Well done today boys, you did very well, but unfortunately, not enough to clinch a win. Well done to Bradley for scoring the goal for the Whites. We have 4 games left until the end of the season and I'm sure we can win them! Anyway, now onto the boring stuff..........subs are due again. £15 per player will cover the remaining 5 games of the seaon (including today's game (9th March). The tournament fee of £14 also needs to be paid before Saturday 22nd March to ensure your child is guaranteed a place in the squad. Go on you Whiteeessssss.
06/03- Following a recent call from the club management i have stood down as age group co-ordinator. Amanda and the Blues are training seperatly from us and Mo shall be assisting me with the whites. What this means is that all of my football time will be devoted to the whites and after the last couple of results the future is very bright. We have a lot of very good talent in the squad and Paul from Chertsey has also praised the way the team played against them this week. The club have also decided that the fine system is withdrawn and replaced with a no train no play system. What this means is that any player that does not come to training will not play in the match that weekend. This means that if 2 players do not attend training then we have to forfeit the match and loose the points.
Many thanks to all of you for your help and support and lets see if this great bunch of lads can give us another great win this weekend. This weekend we play Farncombe who are top of the table and beat us last time 4-1. we shall avenge them......
I would like to apologise for my outburst in the middle of the pitch at todays game. It was un-apropriate for me to have done such a thing in front of the players. I was upset that on two occasions the players well-being (both yours and ours) was not in the best interest of the referee. When a player goes down injured then regardless of the state of play the whistle should be blown to stop the game to ensure that the player is ok and on occasions with both your player who had to be carried off and my player when i showed my unprofessionalism this was not done. After the game i went over to the ref in a calm non-aggresive manner to offer my hand and to apologise and in front of his children plus some of your parents was subjected to verbal abuse and open threats of being reported and that he will "see me next season", this at present i shall leave to your own in-house to resolve and may i just re-itterate my apology for my outburst during the match.
02/03 - Well done boys! What a marvellous performance by all of you! Great goals from Nathan (2), Henry (1) and Joseph (2) secured our 5-2 win against Chertsey Town Juniors. We can only go from strength to strength! Thankyou to all the boys for giving their Mum's a lovely Mothers Day!
24/02- What a difference a week makes. With a full squad the whites came out fighting and showed the passing football we know they can play. A big thanks to the parents that came and cheered them on and to those that helped put the goals and poles away plus a big well done to Mo who managed the team sunday under my supervision. Mo is now going on to manage the Blues for the rest of the season with Amanda's supervision. On the downside Nathan unfortunatly has still not reached full fitness which is why he was pulled off for a while during the game. This was the only reason for this and i would like to thank Morgans dad for coming up to us after the game to voice his concerns and as a result he shall be playing mainly blues games to give him more match time. Next week is mothers day and we are away to Chertsey town so lets hope the lads can give you mums a great present by securing an away win.
24/02 - Well done you Whiteessss. What a great performance by the boys today! Although I'm not that clued up with football (probably because I'm a woman!) I saw some great passing and good teamwork from all of the boys. Well done to Osaze, Logan and Bradley who scored some great goals - Bradley.....there really is no need to apologise to your Dad for scoring from a corner - It was fab! Good luck boys for next weeks game against Chertsey Town Juniors - Let's have another win!. Come on you Whiiitteeessss.
11/02 - Never mind guys we can't win them all and it makes for a thrilling close to the season. Jason Pearce has left the club and it is in temporary control with Craig and Nigel running the majority of the teams and myself in charge of the 7 & 8 teams. We shall be announcing the date for the AGM soon and i would like to see you all there as it is our chance to shape the future of this club. A big thank you to all that helped with setting up for the game, especially Lindsay on doggy doo duty. We shall be rotating between the 5 teams as to who sets up and who packs away.
10/02 - Well done boys for a good performance today. Unfortunately we couldn't clinch a win against our old rivals Byfleet Reds, but the last 5 minutes of the game had the parents on edge as always! We've beaten them before and I'm sure we will again in the future. Well done to Logan and Nathan for scoring two great goals - Nathan played remarkably well considering he is still recovering from a fractured ankle. Good to see you back Nathan - we've missed you! I'm sure after the half term (when the Dad's have been playing football everyday with their boys teaching them some more skills!), the Whites will be raring to go and win all of their last games! Come on you whitteeeeesssss!
09/10 - Ok so the fines for saturday were osaze who didn't attend training. morgan and jack will be playing sunday as the newest members who will help us out. good luck guys and play your best in both the 1st and 2nd half.
06/02 - Latest news from the Ryan camp is that all is well with the bump and it is a boy to be called Michael John with an expected delivery date of June 3rd... Almost at my own little 5 a-side team. lol
04/02 - Well done to everyone for sunday. A big thanks aswell to Julie for the half time oranges and Lindsay (darryll's dad) for the directions. I think that for all future matches we should only play second halves, that way we should get a win. So a few changes are going to happen, I will be selecting a captain on a weekly basis, Mo and Amanda will strat running the main training and i will be taking individuals and small groups to work on problem areas and improvements, There is a managers meeting tuesday and i shall update this area after to inform you of the changes that are taking place within the club. The breakdown of the game showed that in the 2nd half we played our positions and kept our lines and started to dominate, this needs to be translated into the 1st half of a game and i'm hoping that with the next 3 games at home we manage a 3 game winning streak. currently won 5 lost 4 and drawn 2 with 7 games left 6 of which ar home games. Everything is still to play for and we can still win the league. so come on lads lets turn it up. concentration at training and we can become unbeatable for the last games of this season.
03/02 - I'm sure Bill will add his comments soon, but I just wanted to say a very well done to the boys this morning on their 2-2 draw at Farnham. Although it was freezing cold, you all played well and although you turned the second half around, unfortunately it wasn't enough to clinch that win, but a draw is still a point which is what matters. I'm sure the boys like to see Bill and the parents sweat in the first half of their matches, then come to life and turn the game around in the second half! Well done again boys and to Bradley and Logan who put two in the net for Feltham. Go on you whiteeeessss!
29/01 - I have added the directions for Sunday's game against Farnham Lions - according to the AA Route Planner, so hopefully they are correct! The kick off is an early one at 10am, so the boys (sorry, I meant the parents and Bill) need to try and have an early night on Saturday! I have total faith that we can clinch a win at Farnham, so come on you Whites and show us all what you are made of - GOOD LUCK
27/01 - First of a big welcome to Julie who has taken over the paperwork and subs side of the team after Sarah stood down. Thank You. Well everything went so well today, everyone arrived, the directions worked and all was looking well. A gentle warm up follwed a cagey start with some very poor refereeing decisions. Wokings 1st goal was a good goal and well deserved on the break, however their 2nd goal should not have stood and the referee allowing their team to swamp our half before they kicked off was poor. I don't normally complain a lot about ref's yet this was without doubt the worst performance i have ever seen. On the positive side we saw a cracking goal from Logan that must be a contender for goal of the season and a great team effort resulted in Bradley getting the 2nd. well done guy's even though everything was stacked against us it has shown where we need to improve and i shall be pulling all resouces i can to assist the team. One final note is that as from this saturday there will be no excuse for lateness from players at training and anyone that can not make training must inform me as soon as possible. This is not negotiable as the longer we wait for players to arrive the less time the team has and results in the players becoming bored and dis-interested.
26/01 - I have been succesful in my application to be Administration Assistant for the U8 Whites!. Still not sure if it's a good or bad thing and I think I was the only applicant! For those who don't know me, I am Julie (Logan's Mum) and I will do my very best in trying to keep the administration side of things running smoothly. I do need everyone's co-operation for this to happen and I am sure you will all bear with me whilst I get to grips with my new role!. I will be responsible for collecting the subs and providing you all with match information - i.e directions/times etc although Bill will still be sending his text messages re training and meeting times. Enough from me for now - my number is on the homepage should anyone wish to contact me (as long as it doesn't involve running round a football pitch!). So good luck to the boys from me for the remainder of the season. Come on you whitteeessss!
21/01 - Here we are again so it's catch up time. well an amazing 4-0 win on the 6th with 2 players from the under 7's helping. Then last week one of the most exciting games of football i have ever seen. a 1-1 draw where we deserved to be 5-1 up at half time, we just seem to be lacking on the finishing. Mo joined us as an assistant coach and we hope that he returns soon from his holiday to advance the good work put in by all. Good luck to Aiden's mum who will be starting her level 1 coaching course soon and will be observing and assisting at training sessions. We hope to have Morgan joining us this week who will be coming into the white squadand finally i have just been entered as a member of the FA Coaches Association which includes Football Association training so things are looking up. We also need upto £2000 sponsorship for both the whites and the blues and a parent to take over the administration side of the under 8 whites. This will involve the collection of match fees, 1 night a month at the managers meeting and the arranging of games liasing through the managers. If anyone can help then please do.
02/01 - Wow has it been that long.. Well Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Nathan Get well soon, he broke his ankle and will be out of the team untill the end of Feburary at least. So there will be some chopping and chages to make up a team.
26/11 - After some more mis-direction we arrived at Farncombe. After a steady start we ended up loosing 4-1. only a couple of players seemed willing to play. players must not be individualy critisised for the performance by either myself or the players as seemed to happen sunday. This will not be tolerated and will be dealt with if it happens again. Training as as usual at 9:30am and the match on sunday is a 9:30am meet for a 10am kick off at home. I am away this weekend and Jason will be running the team. Good luck guys. Keep your heads high and your thoughts clear. You can win and i believe in you all.
21/11 - League tables released today. We have dropped to 2nd one point behind Farncombe who we play this weekend, so all to play for. a win this weekend should see us go top again. I shall be away for training and our home game 1st/2nd December so Jason pearce will be running the team.
19/11 - A dismal game that saw us lose to Chertsey 3-0. Where did it all go wrong. Maybe it was because the game was played on a saturday, maybe because i have been making comments to the team that have backfired and upset the players and parents or maybe the team was over confident. Either way these things happen and we must keep our chins up and learn from it.
16/11 - Due to Chertsey Town being unable to field a full team for sundays league game the fixture has been moved to saturday 17th november 2007. kick off is at 10am all players need full kit and to meet at Blenheim park for 9:30am. Thank you all for your support and i apologise for mucking you around. i would rather play a game now a day early than try to catch up at the end of the season.
13/11 - League table now updated. We are top and 2 points clear with 12 points. Well done, keep up the great work.
11/11 - Wow what can i say. Dodgy directions, a dodgy pitch and a dodgy start to the game with a dodgy ref. Suffice to say that although that was his first match refereeing i believe it will be his last. So the match. Well after a uneasy start and to go down 2 soft goals so easily and quickly, the lads turned it round with character and determination with great passing and a building communication turning the players into a team resulting in goals from Joe, Nathan, Loagn and a brace from Bradley. Keep up the great work lads. we really have the ability to win the premiership title this season and go on to become unbeatable whoever we play. However, we must concentrate on our positions, our comunication and our teamwork. Keep up the great work, as players i can only give you the tools, you have to use them to create a masterpiece.
09/11 - Man of the match for last sunday was Henry with a top notch performance, Nathan was a very close second.
We are changing the registrations and line-ups for the rest of the season. We aim to have a core 6 players registered with the whites and all the other players registered with the blues. This means that at any time we can pick and choose the best performing players to join the whites and we will also have a better system in place to cover illness and injury. This decision has been taken by both myself and Jason Pearce for the benefit of both teams. Training will remain the unaffected. Thanks for your support so far and if there is anything that either you as parents or the players wish to discuss, please, please see me after training. A small problem delat with now won't grow into a bigger problem later.
05/11 - Next away game announced. we play Frimley Green Rhinos on sunday 11th. They have just been promoted from the 2nd Division.
04/11 - Go on the Whites. I am so pleased today as there were moments of brilliance displayed. Special thanks must go to Buster and his family for bringing him down for what turned out to be a short time on pitch and hopefully he will start to play in the team with a bit more energy. All players were reminded that at present they are playing for their positions as there will be squad changes with players going into the blues as well as coming into the whites. Communication is the key and with the players shouting for the ball then we could have gone 4 or 5 goals up. Henry was outstanding and i hope he can keep up that kind of performance, apart from one little slip up Darryll has the possibility of becoming Mr Safe Hands (put the effort in and you will be rewarded), Nathan and Logan both worked hard and were rewarded with a goal each, our Captain Bradley worked hard again adding to him being our captain, Joe played another good game with some well timed and positioned passes and apart from a few slip ups where he was out of position Adam played with a building confidence. All in all a deserved result yet we should be winning more easily.
02/11 - THE SPL HAVE RE-ARRANGED THE FIXTURES SO PLEASE BEAR WITH ME WHILST I UPDATE AND RE-ARRANGE EVERYTHING
29/10 - Sorry it's been a while sincle last updating.
so on a very poor and small pitch we lost against windlesham yet 28th saw a nail-biting 2-1 win against woking boys sharks with goals from Joe and Bradley. unfortunatly we conceeded a goal for which they players are not to blame. we also saw some greatly improved performances from darryll and joe and the man of the match will be announced at the next raining session. Osue recieved man of the match for the windlesham game.
08/10 - Next game against Windelsham on 14/10. 10am kick off. new players on whites squad for this week are Byron and Osue.
03/10 - LEAGUE FIXTURES RELEASED AND ON-LINE UNDER THE FIXTURE INFO.
